Addressing Hunger in Kenya Schools
Did you know that every year, 3.1 million children (or 8,500 per day) die from poor nutrition? About 28% of all children in developing countries are underweight or have experienced stunted growth due to malnutrition.
A major problem in Kenyan schools is hunger, which is made worse by several political, meteorological, and economic variables. Food insecurity is a serious problem in many places, especially in dry and semi-arid locations like Turkana County.
